The Casa Carrillo Pledge Purple Robusto represents a new expression of the celebrated Pledge series from master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Originally introduced to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Pledge Prequel, Cigar Aficionado’s 2020 Cigar of the Year with an impressive 98-point rating, Pledge Purple takes the legacy in an entirely new direction.

At the heart of this limited-production release is a remarkable Havana-seed Connecticut wrapper grown in the Connecticut River Valley by Dunn & Foster. Sourced from the same tobacco crop used for the original Pledge Prequel, this wrapper has been aged for nearly a decade, developing added depth and character. Beneath it, a Mexican binder and carefully selected Nicaraguan fillers from Esteli, Condega, and Ometepe create a distinctive blend that stands apart from its predecessor.

Measuring 5 1/4 x 52, the Robusto delivers the craftsmanship and complexity of Pledge Purple in a classic format. Produced in limited quantities as part of Casa Carrillo's Premier Collection, this is a noteworthy addition to one of the brand's most celebrated cigar lines.
