The Yagua Robusto by J.C. Newman brings an old-world Cuban cigar-making tradition to life with a distinctive construction method that makes every cigar unique. Inspired by the way Lazaro Lopez's grandfather crafted cigars on his family farm in 1940s Cuba, Yagua is hand-rolled without traditional molds or presses, then bundled while still wet using palm leaves to create its naturally irregular shape.

Made at the PENSA cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, this 5 x 56 cigar features an intentionally underfermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Each cigar ages for a full year after rolling to help develop its character and consistency. For cigar enthusiasts who appreciate traditional craftsmanship, heritage, and a distinctive approach to cigar making, the Yagua Robusto is a standout addition to any humidor. Shop the J.C. Newman Yagua Robusto at Treasure Coast Cigars and experience a surprisingly remarkable piece of cigar-making history.
